There is a well-furnished science laboratory in connection with the subject Physical science education. The lab is situated inside the classroom. The laboratory possesses both infrastructural facilities and all the necessary laboratory equipment’s and chemical substances for the smooth functioning of the laboratory. The laboratory equipment’s in Physics and Chemistry are based on the contents in school education system from Upper primary to higher secondary level. The equipment’s in physics include vernier calippers, screw gauge, spring balance, simple pendulum, compound pendulum, optical equipment, rheostat, resonance column, periscope etc. The equipment’s in chemistry include Burette, pipette, boiling tube, test tube, watch glass, china dish, beakers, standard flask, conical flask, centrifugal tube, measuring jars, round bottom flask, reagent bottles, glass rods, spatula, test tube holder, dropper, kips apparatus, cork, stands etc. The chemicals consists of various acids, bases, chemical compounds, chemical reagents, chemical indicators, metal scraps, marble chips and powder, sodium metal, pH papers, litmus papers etc. Also the laboratory is supported with well aerated room with wash basins and shelves and cup boards for the proper functioning. There are also maintained various charts and graphs related to the subjects. Stock register and purchase register were maintained in the laboratory.
